School Meals

We have an excellent catering team led by our very own Catering Manager. They know the children well and are fabulous at catering for individual allergen needs. We have two spacious dining rooms where the children sit and eat their lunch. Parents can choose to send a packed lunch into school or purchase a school meal for their child.  Our school meals include an option for a school packed lunch. If you would like to order school meals then please contact the school office.

School meals are as healthy as possible but  in order to encourage children to eat hot school meals they also appeal to pupils - pupils are often involved in menu choices. You will find the current menu below. There are varied choices, allergens and vegetarians are catered for. Children have access to the salad cart which is always popular.

You can download the allergen information here for the current menu

Please ensure you check your child's dinner money balance on a regular basis via the MCAS app. School meals are expected to be paid a week in advance to avoid any accounts going into a negative balance. If you have any problems accessing your child's account on MCAS, please contact the school office.

If your child wishes to change from dinners to sandwiches or vice-versa, please notify the school office at least one week prior to the change.

The cost of school meals from September 2024 will be £2.30 per day (£11.50 per week).  Reception Year 1 and 2 have their meals paid for by government funding.

We operate a pre-order system, the menu can be obtained by the links above.

If your child is eligible for Pupil Premium / Free School Meals you can apply online at www.coventry.gov.uk/applyforfreeschoolmeals

Home Prepared Packed Lunch

Children are allowed to bring a packed lunch for their midday lunch, but these must be brought in a suitable container with the name of the child clearly marked. We encourage the children to have healthy lunches and recommend they do not bring sweets and chocolates. Pupils are not permitted to have hot food as we cannot manage the temperatures. We often have children with nut allergies, so we kindly request that parents avoid nuts as a snack where possible please.
